Format: The
competition will be a six round swiss format tournament (all players will get six games, this is not a knockout). Each round will
be played with a time control of 10 minutes each for the whole game.
Entry Fee: The entry fee is £8.00 in advance for all players, or £10.00 on the night. Member of the Spa or Hendon Chess Club pay £6.00. You can pay by PayPal.
Prizes: 1st place a bottle of champagne or something nice, other prizes subject to entry but to include at least one rating prize.
Rating: This event will be internationally rated by FIDE, and therefore all players without a rating are expected to provide a date of birth.
Round Times:
Round 1 begins promptly at 19:30 and the event finishes at 22:00. If you arrive late I'll give you a half point bye for the game (s) that you miss.
Refreshments: The Juice Bar will be serving drinks and excellent food during the event.
